Dear Parents,

Attached documents: Revised entrance/exit plan for Gate 3

Since the Carl E. Blanford School Building has been in use for 57 years, the school finds it necessary to renovate the entire building, both inside and out. The goal is to create a good environment, ensure safety, and prepare for effective learning and skill development. The renovation project details are as follows:

Project Duration: The project is divided into two phases:

Phase 1: Construction of temporary classrooms, laboratories, and offices from 13 August to 30 September 2024.
- Construction Sites:
  - 1st Floor of Multipurpose Building (Green Building): Temporary offices.
  - Gym: G.12 Temporary classrooms, laboratories, and offices.
  - 2nd Floor of 40th Anniversary Building: Network system installation only, no construction.
  - 4th Floor of 50th Anniversary Building: G.1-G.3 classrooms set up. Network system installation only, no construction.

This construction will take place during school hours, starting with the 1st floor of the Multipurpose Building (Green Building), then the Gymnasium. Since temporary offices will be constructed on the 1st floor of the Multipurpose Building (Green Building) starting 13 August 2024, the school is notifying changes to the entrance/exit plan for Gate 3 as per the attached document.

Phase 2: Renovation of Carl E. Blanford Building from 01 October 2024 to 31 March 2025.
- Construction Site: Carl E. Blanford Building, Floors 1 – 4

Building renovation details: Creating a co-working space, music classroom, and nurse’s room to support future teaching developments. Renovations to classrooms, water-saving bathrooms, repairs to various areas, and new building decoration.

Starting in Term 2 of the 2024 academic year, G.1-G.3 & G.12 students will move to temporary classrooms.

During the construction period, the school will clearly demarcate the construction zones and school zones, strictly prohibiting unauthorized access. The safety of students, teachers, staff, and parents is the school’s priority. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
